Congratulations to Anna Vanderbruggen ( Cohort 4) for the student award for her master thesis on the recovery of graphite from spent lithium ion batteries. The prize was awarded by the society of the French mineral industry (la Sim).

The work was done in collaboration with the recycling industry and was supervised by Dr Martin Rudolph and Professor Urs Peuker (TU Bergakademie Freiberg). You can find an abstract of her thesis here.
